Every summer, thousands of dogs are abandoned on the road — and yet, we call ourselves “human.” This project was born from anger and irony. I wanted to flip the perspective: what if the dog were the rational one, and the human the disposable pet?
What it does
He Wouldn’t Do It looks like an official government PSA, but it’s entirely fictional. Through the visual language of bureaucracy and propaganda, it exposes the absurdity of human cruelty while maintaining a calm, serious tone that makes the irony even sharper.
How we built it
The film was developed using Freepik for the base imagery, Google Imagen 4 for advanced image generation, and Kling 2.2 for motion design. Editing, sound design, and final compositing were done in Premiere Pro, with music and sound effects sourced from Freepik. The visual treatment was designed to resemble a real institutional campaign — clean, cinematic, and disturbingly plausible.
Challenges we ran into
The main challenge was tone. It had to look real enough to trick the viewer for a moment, yet ironic enough to provoke reflection once the message lands. Finding that fragile balance between empathy and satire — between truth and absurdity — was the biggest creative struggle.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The project manages to move between humor and discomfort with precision. We created a piece that doesn’t preach — it makes you feel uneasy, and that discomfort is where empathy begins.
What we learned
AI isn’t just a tool for image generation — it’s a mirror for human behavior. Working with generative systems taught us that irony, empathy, and critique can coexist in one frame when used with purpose and restraint.
What’s next for HE WOULDN’T DO IT
This short film is the first piece of a larger experimental series exploring empathy, responsibility, and absurdity through AI-generated imagery. The next project will expand the idea: other species, other settings — always asking the same question. What if they behaved like us?
