Inspiration

I wanted to learn about the concepts of cloud computing, AI and most especially how Azure works and how it can be applied to solve solutions for the community.

What it does

It should predict an outbreak with the given data set.

How we built it

I used regression through Auto ML. There where 2 data set given by HCLTech and between the two data set I chose the Influenza Surveillance data set that focused in California, USA.

Challenges we ran into

Being a first timer, I got confused at first on how to upload the data set at the Azure Machine Learning Studio, however I was able to upload the data. Moving forward I was able to do my experiment and used regression to train my model. The next challenging part was how to interpret the values and how to determine the correctness of my work.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud that I was able to upload the data on my own and load the data in Auto ML.

What we learned

Cloud services play a big role in the innovation and improvement in the health sector. With Microsoft Azure we can forecast timely outbreaks and can help in epidemic control.

What's next for ..HCLTech Problem Statement-Influenza Outbreak

Moving forward, the problem statement is an eye opener for me on how our health sector determines the public on possible outbreaks, the process on how it is conducted and the services to help determine its probability through the given data set.
