Inspiration

Platform risk from services like robinhood and onlyfans. What if we could make a Patreon-like platform where there is no platform risk because users govern the platform.

What it does

Decentralized patreon-like subscription-based social spaces where haven owners can connect with their audience and share their works in a more intimate way. Users can tip and subscribe to havens to show their support.

How we built it

Frontend = solidjs. Offchain = fastify and moralis. Onchain = solidity

Challenges we ran into

Dayjobs. Generally busy team members. Clunky offchain tooling. Moralis is nice but it still is clunky. Ceramic has outdated docs so iterating took some time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Very cool solidjs frontend. Implemented ceramic and moralis. Used ERC777s to solve unlimited approval issue. Chainlink keeper integration

What we learned

Typescript. Web3 tools. We are now converts of web3

What's next for Haven Protocol

Continue developing haven. Website builder for really customized haven spaces. Release Haven DAO. Content access control. Native NFT marketplace for each haven so that users can directly support NFTs of their favourite artists. Haven token LFG.
