What it does

Our idea introduces a predictive mechanism of a heart attack at most 6 hours earlier than it hits and timely notification to concerned personnel and care givers so medical help can be guaranteed. The idea is to develop a wearable smart device that is fully functional and highly cost effective for the Pakistani medical market, and that prognoses an oncoming heart attack within 6 hours prior to impact by monitoring ECG, blood pressure, respiration and blood oxygen values of the subject using sensors calibrated to predict medical symptoms through complex artificial intelligence techniques. Previous patient health conditions will help identify pattern to predict next possible cardiac arrest. Currently the absence of any predictive mechanism of a heart attack earlier than it hits and timely notification to concerned people to move patient quickly to cardiac support, has led to numerous loss of lives across the globe and with prevailing health conditions of Pakistan this number is greater than those in developed countries. We aspire to bring this life-saving device within reach of Pakistani consumers so as to improve the quality and life expectancy rate of Pakistani population.

How we built it

Before this, there was no such device or mechanism for timely (less than and up to 6 hours prior) diagnosis of forthcoming cardiac arrest and no mechanism for timely notification to care giver after diagnosis. All prevailing wearable devices either prognose the attack more than 6 hours prior and are extremely expensive for an average Pakistani consumer to buy and use. Our product will not only help prognose the device earlier than any other device in the market but it will also be cost effective and fully functional with results accurate up to 85%

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Today this problem is solved when people visit periodically to their doctors for prevention then regular tests have to conducted e.g. ECG, ETT, ECHO etc. Smart devices that do exist, diagnose the symptoms with very low accuracy rather than prognose them efficiently. An average person can also take care of his health by using our device with the accuracy of 85%.

We did a lot of research on such products but no one can exactly prognose heart arrests. Devices with such hardware do exist but the thing which makes us different is our algorithms which will alert us about heart attack 6 hours prior.
