Harvesting portable water from oceans

Inspiration

Water scarcity is a very big problem. I was inspired by the people around me suffering from this problem. What pushed me more was the cyclone Amphan hit Kolkata a few weeks back where one of my relatives were trapped and did not have mineral water supply for about five days.

What it does

It is a simple idea wherein we use our class 6 knowledge of water distillation to solve a world crisis.

How I built it

Its just an idea on paper as of know but is sure to come to life in the coming days.

Challenges I ran into

The main challenge was to figure a simpler, cheaper and greener energy source to heat water

What I learned

Everything teaches us something. In making the project I read a lot many articles, watched a lot of videos and improved my documentation skills
