Harvest Grant

Inspiration

Our inspiration for completing the Harvest Grant project was the companies mission statement. Not only does the implementation of Harvest Grant improve operational efficiency, it also has a great impact on our local community.

What it does

The tool utilizes a sentence transformer model. It will translate previous grants and success stories into vector embeddings. This will allow for semantic search of these documents so the user can query relevant past grants and success stories for the grant being currently written.

How we built it

We are utilizing the most popular sentence transformer model on Hugging Face. This will be integrated with the Zoho cloud service housing all the relevant documents. The tool will display the results in a beautiful user interface for easy navigation.

Challenges we ran into

Fully understanding the challenge statement and what our solution should focus on, as well as interpreting AI and utilizing it to the best of our abilities.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The accomplishments that we are proud of is being able to work together and bring all of our technical skills to the table and still make the project uniform and make it flow well together.

What we learned

The limitations and capabilities of commonly used AI systems and ways we can integrate them into our community to better it.

What's next for Harvest Grant

Potential integration of Harvest Grant into other stored data for easy access, as well as maximizing the efficiency of the program.
