Intro
Harry Porker’s HogWars - An updated whimsical parody world built for replayability, laughs, and bacon-fueled progression. Your goal is to join the fight and help Harry Porker defeat the evil Hog Wizards.
Inspiration
Harry Porker’s HogWars was inspired by the blend of nostalgic wizard fantasy and absurd, meme-worthy humor. We wanted to take the familiar magical universe and give it a porky twist—creating a world where wizards are pigs and the ultimate reward is… bacon bits.
Our goal was to update the world and make it feel both accessible and hilarious, while offering deep, long-term progression for committed players.
How We Built It
1. Published First Version: A basic arena world with 1 boss, 1 wand. Players seemed to like it so we decided to update it
2. First updates: Upgraded the environment and introduced the Lobby as new spawn point, added instructions, mobile and VR leaderboards
3. Persistent Progression system via PVARs:
• Added bacon bits currency as a reward for defeating bosses and completing quests;
• Added wand upgrades through spending bacon bits in the wand shop
• Added wizard titles as rewards for leveling up
• Added a total of 5 Bosses, each with their own attack sets, VFX, and levels that scale endlessly
• Added a Quests system with missions that increase in difficulty and rewards (bacon bits)
4. Mobile Re-Optimization: Added auto-aim for easier play, lightweight assets, and thumb-reachable UI.
5. Final touches: Added Harry Porker NPC so that you never feel alone in the world while fighting the evil Hog Wizards

Challenges
Throughout our updates we tried to balance progression so that we keep experienced players engaged without overwhelming new ones. Quests start from very easy to accomplish to more difficult. And we made sure you earn enough bacon bits at the start so that you can upgrade your wand quickly. Stronger wands require more playtime though.
We treid designing boss difficulty curves that felt fair but increasingly intense, and not limited to any session time. You could play for hours and the 5 bosses will keep coming back with increasing level and difficulty.
We also put it a lot of effort in ensuring mobile performance didn’t suffer with the added environment updates particles, effects, and character animations. .
