What it does

How we built it

We designed a modular architecture with a pluggable LLM layer, a deterministic financial simulation engine, and a scoring system that evaluates liquidity, commitments, and risk across multiple scenarios.

Challenges we ran into

Balancing AI reasoning with deterministic financial modeling, designing a stability scoring formula that felt meaningful, managing scope within tight time constraints, and preventing the LLM from hallucinating financial math.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

A fully working end-to-end prototype that converts natural language into structured financial simulations, ranks multiple options by stability score, and delivers clear risk-aware recommendations.

What we learned

LLMs are powerful for interpretation and explanation, but financial decisions require deterministic logic; architecture discipline matters more than feature volume; and scope control is critical in short sprints.

What's next for HARMONY

Integrate real financial data sources, add automated mandate-based payment execution, refine the stability model using behavioral data, and evolve HARMONY into a proactive financial operating system rather than a reactive advisory tool.
