Inspiration
We all love listening to music and we want to keep up with what our friends are listening to and we want to share what we're listening to with others.
What it does
It is a social platform that connects friends and people with the same music taste and get recommended songs that you wouldn't normally see in order to broaden your musical horizon.
How we built it
We used HTML, CSS, and Javascript to create the website, and the website is hosted on Github Pages.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into an issue with having a database that would hold the users and their friendships, but we were unable to figure that out due to some technical difficulties with Github pages being static.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of the video that we made because it is engaging for us and hopefully, our audience as well!
What we learned
We attempted to learn about database, but we've realized that we needed to spend more time learning about them, and now, we're thinking about potentially taking a course on databases.
What's next for Harmony
We hope to develop this into a fully fledged site, and get all of the functionality working
