Inspiration

• Getting information about a particular service is pretty difficult these days and one would have to scroll through endless options on Google map and some other services before this can be gotten. I initially wanted to build a site where users can get information on nearby hospitals for easy access in an emergency and I decided to make it not just for hospitals but for other important services like jobs, banks etc. ## What it does
• Harmony Haven is a platform that gives users access to jobs, businesses, hospitals, banks, markets, etc around then with directions on how to get there. It is a one stop site for travelers and new settlers in a particular community.
• Unlike Google map, Harmony Haven is more focused on providing specific locations with ease and precision. ## How we built it
• Project research was done for any platform offering similar services
• Required API was sort out for, however I could not get one that will help with my project besides the crackdevs API
• A suitable technology was needed and after many debates, I chose to use Vue.js for its user friendliness and it's pretty fun to use. ## Challenges we ran into Getting APIs that will give us access to some of the needed information like hospitals, banks etc. ## Accomplishments that we're proud of I was able to integrate the crackdevs API into my project and get the needed information about each job. ## What we learned How to integrate API, fetch data and make use of Pinia for state management ## What's next for Harmony Haven Complete the project, make it more user friendly and engaging with information from all over the world to aid travelers or new settlers in a particular location.
