Motivation
The goal of this project is to simplify the process of generating Spotify playlists based on user prompts. Users can input a description of the kind of music they want to listen to, and the system generates a curated playlist. The application is designed to enhance user experience, save time, and make discovering new music more intuitive.
What we learned
In this project, we became far more familiar with APIs of all kinds, semantic language models, and how to maximize productivity on 0 hours of sleep.
Challenges
While this project went about as smoothly as one can hope a hackathon would, it wasn’t without challenges. For one, git was acting up from minute one. With many stash / stash pops, we persevered.
