Inspiration
- To empower diabetic patients to take their overall health in control
- Build a supportive community for diabetic patients
- Build a mobile application running on Android and IOS devices as an extension to the current website
- Acts as a basic product rating and review system where users benefit from the feedback left on food products by other end users
What it does
It is a mobile application built using React Native which is a suitable framework for cross-platform app development. The mobile application is built primarily for Android devices but works well for iOS devices. This application allows users to rate and review food products they have tried.
How we built it
We were a team of eight people and together we built the application over a period of three months. We built the application from scratch having very little familiarity with the technology stack involved.
What I learned
Learned React Native and Firebase technology stack.
What's next for Harexi
The team at Harexi has a very long term vision for this project. There are several features that are to be developed at a later stage for the mobile application.
