Inspiration

Long-term relationships often slide into repetitive routines simply because planning thoughtful outings takes time and mental energy—especially after a demanding workweek. Our web app fixes this by using multi-agent automation to curate and book tailor-made couple experiences without the fatigue of back-and-forth planning.

What it does

By analyzing each partner's unique personal interests, live calendar availability, maximum travel distance, and budget, the system identifies optimal free windows. Crucially, specialized agents evaluate each partner’s weekly schedule density to estimate energy levels, ensuring high-energy events like concerts are proposed on light days, while low-key activities are scheduled when tiredness is high. From scraping real-time local events to maintaining a private, shared media memory journal after every outing, the app automates research, logistics, and reflection—requiring user input only for final approval.

How we built it

Built by vibe coding with Google aistudio. From 1 detailed description prompt then numerous iterations to correct the bugs, wrong computations, add more logic, add few features and redesign the UI. The application utilizes a hierarchical, multi-tier agentic architecture powered by Gemini 3.6 Flash (gemini-3.6-flash), Google Search Live Grounding, and Google ADK (Agent Development Kit) patterns.

Challenges we ran into

To manage the timeout of the live grounding search. To prompt accurately to not break a feature while correcting/building other feature.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

To have build my first useful agentic application with a multimodal UI, using vibe coding only, in just few days.

What we learned

How to discern from an issue in the logic in the app and an issue from the model. How to use and how powerful are services like API maps, API place,etc...

What's next for HappyCouple

Refine the selection of the Time slot for the date and the type of event. Add a new agent fully autonomous to permanently survey the charge in the calendars to suggest events/activities to each partner or in couple - without user requesting to planning a date. Extend the dating planning to long period of free time (long weekends, travel,...).
