We are bringing people together over their favorite meal!

After working in restaurants for years, we saw how restaurants’ biggest problem is filling empty seats during off-peak hours.

Happy Hour is an app that lets customers book a meal during an off peak hour, for a discount on their total bill. It makes the meal cheaper for the consumer, and brings customers and revenue to the restaurant.

We will expand this beyond restaurants to all industries that have varying levels of demand. Workout classes, museums, nail studios, anywhere you are paying rent, staff wages, and other fixed costs either way and want to increase demand even if for a discount.

We will make eating out cheaper for our customers, and we will bring revenue to our restaurants. Additionally, we will make managing peak times easier for restaurant staff, by redistributing this demand wave with our discount incentive structure.

We all got together, started building. None of us had ever coded in React Native before and we just put our heads down to build. We built out the whole frontend focusing on an intuitive and seamless user experience.

We have so many features on our to do list moving forward, including having special offers on dishes where produce will expire (pastries at a Brunch spot, fresh vegetables at a farm to table restaurant.) Excited to continue building!
