Inspiration
So many people are unhappy at various points in their lives. We are consantly surrounded by people who seek improvement.
What it does
Suggest activities that will boost a user's happiness through website and google mini form.
How we built it
Using online platforms but also a lot of web language.
Challenges we ran into
We figured out everything from scratch, so it was a lot of trial an error. A lot of time spent on being unsure whether our codes were working or not because the wifi was unstable. We finally got everything to work when switched to a wifi access outside of the venue.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The moment that the Dr. Happy appeared on Google Mini and the moment that our website ran smoothly!
What we learned
- Improve programming skills on html, css, javascript and bootstrap.
- DialogFlow: We learned to add actions and run simulations within Actions on Google and we learned how to create Intents. We also figured out how to deploy the actions for alpha testing on Google Mini.
What's next for Happiness Project
Our Website: 1.Visualization of user’s level of happiness over time 2.Expanding our database of activities 3.Fine tuning quality of resources
Google assistant: 1.Additional device integrations: Mobile devices, TVs, and wearable devices. 2.Database integration: Allow for flexibility and changes
