** Inspiration **

We wanted to make a better calendar for our needs. One that could improve every aspect of our lives, whether it be mental/emotional or social, academic, physical and even spiritual. It is supposed to augment your weekly schedule and provide a way that students specifically better thrive in college life.

** What it does **

You can track your daily performance in many categories such as mental, physical and academic. It has a RateMyProf integration so that you can see how well put together your classes were and that you can have a preview of classes you select before you go to them.

** How we built it **

Our tech stack is comprised of Flask, Bootstrap, CSS, HTML, and Python. (and lots of redbull/coffee)

** Challenges we ran into **

Learning so many new technologies in such a short span of time. Many of the web development tools like Flask and Bootstrap were unknown to us before the start of the hackathon!

** Accomplishments that we're proud of **

It runs! It might not be the entire vision that our team had but it is something that we created which is pretty darn cool.

** What we learned **

Next time, maybe try to go for a simpler implementation that doesn't require learning so much so quickly. Make the scope more manageable.

** What's next for Hang Time**

One of the main visions of the Hang Time web app was to be able to send a link to another user that had the app and you'd be able to instantly see what matching time slots you had so that you and your friend's could hang out. It was even supposed to work with multiple people so that you could do it with large groups! To find "Hang times" and improve social bonding was our goal. A vision was to have it integrate with Apple Health or Samsung to provide a complete picture of your week, along with how well you're keeping up with tasks (through Google's Calendar REST API) and staying connected to friends.
