Inspiration
The inspiration of the project comes from real life experience when one of my friends relative is paralyzed and he cannot move from there position,it is not possible for anyone to care him 24/7,in between the time when no one around him if any emergency comes like he wants to go washroom,want food,any other problems, drink water etc. How he can convey the message.
What it does
Our device is designed to help such patients to convey their messages to doctors,nurses sitting at hospital office or home over the internet,the hand motion circuit detect body movements using sensor and displays the messages wirelessly over nodeMCU to the receiver system.
How we built it
With help of IOT we have developed this device.
Challenges we ran into
To test the device on real patients we are trying to do it on real patients.
What we learned
We experienced the problems of real paralyzed patients and how difficult for them to do anything.
What's next for Multi Sensor Gesture Recognition For Paralyzed Patients
We are trying develope GSM module which can directly call to the doctor if any emergency comes. A health & hospitality related problem solution which helps paralyzed patients.
Achievement of project
We have recently won 1st prize at SVIT, Vasad Anand Gujarat in Open-R competition. We are Finalists of code unnati innovation Marathon 2023 last month. among 400 teams we are the finalists in a state level Marathon
