Inspiration

When you are living in such a huge popularity country, Helping each other is not been easy thing. With the help of our web app “Hands come together for Covid-19” We are seeing the opportunity to make this possible.

One day of quarantine I was seeing news channel, On 24th March, the Indian government has imposed a complete lockdown for 21 days. We were relaxed to see this news and was hoping it would be a nice move to resist the next number of COVID-19 positive cases explode.

But the Next day saw in the news all the laborers were impacted since they were working on daily wedges which were stoped all of sudden and they have started moving to their home town by walk. Some of them has to walk 900km far, some of taken bicycle and tricycle to reach their home. They were hungry past 1 week. And this trail has been enlarged and stoped at the capital of India Delhi border in the form of huge mass 16 lac people of labor class who were not suffering from COVID-19 they were dying from hunger and shelterless circumstances.

We all wanted to help specifically for their food and other need but we were helpless. That was the inspiration which has been a trigger to do for a needy person.

What it does

Our web-app creates an efficient and secure system for donator & those who needs help financially and physically.

How I built it

With the help of Design framework and communication, we thought of this idea

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We both hit the ground and came together for a common goal of helping communities by this product We met the tight timeline we are proud we are proving people the right things and helping the world that needs it!

What I learned

We can achieve anything if our goal is positive and change the world by doing lil Time management and effective utilisation of resources is the key for meeting team goals A cause which fulfil others requirement is the inspiration, Look at the ideas at different angle of humanity.

What's next for Hands come together

We are not able to build out feature that we wanted. A few that we will build after the Hackathon are:

  • SOS
  • ID Adhar link
  • Email/Text notifications
  • Chat system within the app
  • Automatically match needy with donator
  • Social Sharing Features -
  • Potentially creating a mobile app for Android/IOS
