What it does

HandoffProof is a new Round 1 Markdown Skill for checking a creative delivery against an approved brief. It links each requirement to cited NAS files and the exact SHA-256 observed, and distinguishes missing, ambiguous, mismatched and unverified evidence.

Why

Version history and filenames alone do not establish that the required deliverable was approved. The goal is a traceable handoff report with explicit limits, rather than an unsupported all-clear.

How it is designed

The parent delegates supported read-only work to file-agent and document-agent. Every finding retains its source and coverage. Saving a report is optional and requires the actual supported expert action and approval. Unknown model or data-routing configuration stops processing, including metadata delegation. The Skill never sends a delivery, deletes files or treats its report as client acceptance.

Build and validation

This project was created during the hackathon. Codex assisted research, workflow design, Markdown drafting, static checks and revision. The ZIP contains SKILL.md and directly linked Markdown references only; official toolkit examples informed the design but their runtime code is not bundled. A local reference implementation passed 17 synthetic tests. An independent written walkthrough checked seven synthetic situations, and the two-page proposal received independent review. These are static/local checks, not execution by the NAS expert agents.

Current limits and next step

No actual NAS installation or NAS model/expert execution, customer trial or measured performance benefit is claimed. If selected, the next step is testing the same Skill on the assigned NAS and documenting actual behavior and failures. The attached proposal supplies the ten requested answers and test plan.
