What it does

Handoff Shelf is a pre-test UGREEN NAS orchestration Skill for freelancers and small teams resuming paused projects. It turns selected project documents into a source-linked handover: decisions, conflicting claims, open questions and suggested next actions.

How it works

The user authorizes one folder and question, reviews a bounded discovery list, and confirms the documents to read. Registered file and document experts discover and extract evidence. The parent assembles a handover with explicit coverage and source excerpts. Saving a new Markdown report is optional and requires review and approval of the exact content and destination.

Why this workflow

A useful handover must preserve disagreements instead of silently choosing a delivery date or inventing an owner. Handoff Shelf distinguishes recorded commitments from recommendations and keeps missing information visible.

Built for Round 1

The package contains SKILL.md and three linked Markdown references covering the report contract, validation cases and provenance. It uses the official UGOS Skill Creation Tool v0.7.3 and catalog 2.0.0. The official checker reports static-pass with zero errors and zero warnings.

Current limits and next validation

No NAS installation, expert invocation or live save has been verified. Runtime validation depends on finalist device access. Planned tests cover conflicting dates, reviewed saves, empty or unreadable folders, scope boundaries and uncertain write outcomes. Static validation does not prove runtime behavior. No extra external API or paid model is introduced; host model routing still needs verification.

AI and sources

OpenAI Codex assisted with concept scoping, capability inspection, Markdown authoring, static validation and proposal preparation. Original Skill text is MIT licensed. The official organizer kit is a development dependency and is not bundled in the submission ZIP. No prior hackathon project was reused.
