Inspiration

Handicapped individuals often face discrimination and limited opportunities, making it challenging for them to pursue entrepreneurial ambitions. Unfortunately, there is a lack of a platform that offers guidance and resources to help disabled individuals become successful entrepreneurs. To address this issue, we developed a comprehensive platform that offers handicapped individuals access to necessary support and resources to pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations successfully. Our platform empowers handicapped individuals to become successful entrepreneurs, contributing to their community's growth and development.

What it does

Handicap preneur is a complete platform for the handicap people to get resources and guidances from top experts of the selected domain, which helps them to evaluate their idea and helps them turn their ideas into startups. It also allows the handicaps to form communities and connect with other like-minded people. The app also comes up with a Smart AI tool which helps to evaluate the ideas of the users based on novelty,feasibility and other factors along with the remarks of the experts . It shall notify the users of various events that is happening around their location.

How we built it

Our app was constructed using the emerging Flutter framework, which offers an excellent platform for app development. To facilitate our backend operations, we integrated Firebase into our app, which enables us to easily manage product additions, deletions, and updates. Additionally, we are currently working on AI tool that can analyze and interpret the ideas of the users . This feature will enhance the functionality of our app and provides the users with deeper insights of their idea.

Challenges we ran into

We understand the difficulty of developing an AI tool which helps the users to evaluate their ideas and helping them to get insights of their ideas . But we are currently working on developing the Ai tool with considering multiple factors like novelty,feasibility,producibility and for accurate prediction.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We rejoice about the accomplishments of our 2nd place at FestX'23, a National level 1-day Hackathon evaluated by experts from CTS organization, it was a tough competition with more than 200 teams with multi-disciplinary projects, and with our hard work and team coordination we got 2nd place with cash prize for Rs.5,000.

We also presented our idea at Anna University among various startups and were recognized by many prominent people from the industry.

What we learned

Throughout our project, we encountered various obstacles that ultimately became valuable learning experiences. As we tackled each hurdle, we gained insights into the challenges faced by Handicap communities, and we integrated these insights into our application by adding new features. Going forward, we are committed to leveraging our app to address the many issues encountered by the Handicap people. We will continue to work diligently to help farmers overcome their challenges and improve their livelihoods.

What's next for Handicap prenuer

It is crucial to make the app known to the Handicap communities to ensure its adoption and success. We believe that Handicapped individuals should take responsibility for spreading the word about the app to their peers. To accelerate the adoption of our application, we can leverage various marketing channels, including social media, community outreach programs, and word-of-mouth referrals. Additionally, we can introduce new features, such as showcasing videos on developing entrepreneurship skills that are mandatory to become successful entrepreneurs, to keep users engaged and interested in our platform. Finally, we can consider launching marketing campaigns to gain international recognition and expand our user base beyond our domestic market.
