UVC Antimicrobial Water Sanitizer

Inspiration

Unsafe water kills 200 children every hour. Clean water is a necessary resource that millions of people in the world do not have, and is a major source of water-borne illnesses.

What it does

UV LED light irradiation eliminates microbes in water that cause major water borne illnesses.

How I built it

UV LED light, tubing spirals around light, funnel to catch water, opaque tube to protect eyes from UV light
