What it does

Our project consists in developing a technology capable of transcribing the movements and joints of the hand in real time in a virtual environment for video games and other fields. This innovation provides a more immersive and interactive virtual reality experience, allowing users to better feel the virtual objects they manipulate. The virtual reality market is growing rapidly and has seen strong investment in recent years

How we built it

By taking a step back and scanning the internet, I discovered and came across a super powerful technology that is very little used in this area at the moment. Image processing and more specifically hand tracking. Indeed, hand tracking by image processing is a process that makes it possible to follow and detect the movements of a user's hand using a camera or another image source. The system uses image processing algorithms to analyze images of the user's hand and detect the movements and positions of their fingers.
