Our project consists in developing a technology capable of transcribing the movements and joints of the hand in real time in a virtual environment for video games and other fields. This innovation provides a more immersive and interactive virtual reality experience, allowing users to better feel the virtual objects they manipulate. By taking a step back and scanning the internet, I discovered and came across a super powerful technology that is very little used in this area at the moment. Image processing and more specifically hand tracking. Indeed, hand tracking by image processing is a process that makes it possible to follow and detect the movements of a user's hand using a camera or another image source. The system uses image processing algorithms to analyze images of the user's hand and detect the movements and positions of their fingers. So I see a potential to integrate this technology for this field of application, because it could allow me to offer and meet the same criteria as the glove but without material. I will therefore be able to be very competitive in the haptic glove market. This technology would be a perfect compromise between the technical side and the entrepreneurial side.
