Inspiration:
We faced real-world scenario, where our moms spend her daily life either doing some handmade things or involving in any other productive things. And we are just trying to be a medium to sell these productive products. Our government is providing technical education regarding homemade goods like (Carpet, Dhoko, etc). They seem to be interested in joining this practical education, but because of lack of market they are not earning through it, so we are just being a medium between them.
What it does
It is just an eCommerce platform. Where sellers themselves get an opportunity to add their product in our platform or they directly visit us with their product. We just collect them and delivered them to the right person who is searching for it.
How we built it
We built this platform using Python and Django Web framework.
Challenges we ran into
Firstly we are not detailly concerned, how we gonna train our women to produce such goods. And we came to know, there are some organizations such as Dhurmus Suntali who can support us with it.

We successfully built the platform where the seller can add their product to our database online.

What's next for Hamro Kala
We are trying to build the reward system for the seller by choosing the best seller. And also we are planning to visit different cities and make sure to have detailed information about the products that can be collected from that area. Further, we will be enhancing this platform in international platform as well.
