Inspiration
I generated a clown model I liked, but the bottom half of him was missing. I decided to add him to the top and have him leaning over the edge. I really liked the look of it, so I decided to fill the entire top with monsters creepily looking down on you as you try to escape the Halloween box.
I also got the inspiration to develop a Paintball gun as well and decided to use it in the early part of the stage.
What it does
It's a Halloween themed Obby with multiple obstacles to overcome. Players have to solve a simple puzzle at the beginning using the Paintball Gun.
How I built it
I started with a box and kept building. I went through different flow states. Sometimes it was for gameplay and the other time it was building out the world.
Challenges I ran into
There wasn't too many challenges surprisingly. The development of the Paintball Gun on the other hand was a different story.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I liked the world I built using the 3D model tools. It's never been possible to build a world so quickly, but AI tools are changing the game.
What I learned
I learned how to use Meta Horizon to build worlds. I usually liked to stick to 2D games because building 3D worlds are a lot more complex, but this experience makes me want to make more 3D games.
