Inspiration

We noticed that many startups struggle to manage their ideas, strategies, and projects across multiple tools. This fragmentation creates chaos and slows growth. Inspired to simplify this, we envisioned an AI-powered platform that seamlessly guides startups from ideation to execution through smart strategy and project management.

What it does

** Hakvigo combines AI-driven strategic planning with intelligent project management in one platform.** It helps startups validate ideas, automate task allocation, optimize resources, and track progress — enabling founders to focus on building their vision instead of getting bogged down in operational chaos.

How we built it

We built Hakvigo using Bolt.new for rapid prototyping, Cursor for collaborative development, Supabase as our backend, and OpenAI's API for AI capabilities. Our AI assistant integrates with a medium-level intelligence layer to interpret user prompts and turn them into actionable projects — from idea validation to full-blown timelines — all inside one interface.

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest hurdles was enabling Supabase to accept structured project data from natural language prompts — a real technical puzzle. Making OpenAI behave like a reliable project management AI (not just a chatbot) took deep prompt engineering. And finally, budget estimation and allocation through AI was a tricky feature to design without making things overly complex.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Integrating OpenAI into a fully usable project planning flow was a major milestone. We’re also proud of crafting a design and UX that feels intuitive, sleek, and startup-ready. Most importantly, we’ve built something very close to a beta that early users are already engaging with — and loving.

What we learned

We discovered how powerful Bolt.new is for rapid app creation through natural prompts — it turned hours of traditional dev work into minutes. We learned how to orchestrate Cursor, OpenAI, Supabase, and Netlify into a smooth pipeline. And we gained hands-on experience in building AI-first tools that feel like real collaborators — not just assistants.

Hakvigo AI is just getting started. As a team, we’re committed to evolving this into a stable, production-grade AI project planner that redefines how startups and teams manage work.

Smart Budgeting & Cost Tracking We're building an intelligent budgeting system that calculates project costs based on task descriptions, resource involvement, and time spent — helping founders understand where time and money are going in real time.

Task Effort Estimation by AI Hakvigo will estimate the effort and cost of a task based on its title, description, and assigned resource. This transforms project scoping from guesswork into data-driven accuracy — ideal for startups working with tight timelines and budgets.
