HajjHackathon Summary
Over the last year, we were in Makkah for an Umrah with friends, all was great, spiritual and very organized. However, there were some issues affecting the quality and safety of Umrah, especially the crowded places of Makkah including Kaaba and SAFA and Marwa. Consequently, we were afraid to lose contact with each other because we were foreign peoples from Saudi country. So, we must stay together and keep in touch. Accordingly, our HajjHackathon’s idea is simple, innovative and very useful for foreign peoples. This proposed application perhaps will solve the waste and loss of friends contact during the Hajj. A mobile application is going to be developed to track the team, helps to create new meetup points in maps and emits an alert in case of the increase of distance among the member’s team. The administrator can manage user profiles, create a new location for the meeting and set the alarm’s parameters.
