Inspiration: The era of machines everywhere helping in every aspect of our life,it's about time that this phenomena is brought to affect the experience of 2 million people.
What it does: It identifies people, gives information about the location of their tents and provides access to emergency numbers. It also gives access for the volunteer to request immediate medical help tailored for the Hajj in times of emergency.
How we built it: For the demo, we used android development using java, implementing native commands and Gmaps API.
Challenges we ran into: Time limit, lack of experience in members and limited scope of ideas. Getting fingerprint verification system working with demo data on mobile phones.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: It works! It's simple and it's effective!
What we learned: basic android development + ideation and business planning techniques.
