Inspiration

We have chosen to undertake this challenge due to the challenging nature of the current housing market, where properties have become increasingly expensive. In light of this situation, our objective is to devise an innovative solution that can assist prospective homebuyers in navigating these complex market conditions effectively.

What it does

Our application evaluates a provided dataset of prospective homebuyers to determine their eligibility for a loan. Furthermore, prospective homebuyers are afforded the opportunity to input their personal data for assessment of loan qualification.

How we built it

Our application was developed using Java, specifically incorporating JOptionPane for seamless user interactions. The interface is designed with an intuitive and user-friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI) to enhance the overall user experience.

Challenges we ran into

Implementing Java in conjunction with JOptionPane presented unique challenges due to the limited familiarity among the mentors and other hackers that we surveyed. As a result, obtaining assistance became challenging, given the scarcity of expertise in this specific area.
