Hackurdate

Hackurdate is the perfect tool for someone who can't decide on an idea for their next date. Based on the user's location and date preferences, Hackurdate is able to return new random ideas.

Inspiration

Since it is almost Valentine's Day, we wanted to solve a problem people often have when looking for something to do with their date. Hackurdate attempts to make this decision easier and more interesting.

What it does

Users input their location and what type of dates they want. Then, Hackurdate uses this information to generate date ideas.

How we built it

Hackurdate was built using tools such as Python, Flask, HTML, Bootstrap, and web scraping.

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges we had was getting the logo to display correctly.

We are proud of being able to make Hackurdate function the way we planned.

What we learned

We learned more about Flask, HTML, bootstrap, and web scraping.

Making it look better and deploying it.
