CV Checker is designed to be a strong lead generator for career network websites where the sign up process can be very cumbersome. Often there are many steps and too many fields to fill out. This is bad for the service and also for it's (potential) users. Also, automatically checking the quality of a CV benefits the user as well.

We are here to reinvent the sign up process for career networks. Instead of one single process for every user, we believe a more customized approach to different domains works best.

Here, we demonstrated how a sign up process in the tech domain should look like. The user simply provides his current resume as a pdf file. The file will be parsed and all the necessary information will be automatically extracted. This means you either don't have to enter any data at all or just have to make some small adjustments.

Additionally, portfolio websites like LinkedIn, GitHub, and StackOverflow are automatically matched based on your personal data. These websites are taken into account when determining the quality of your overall resume.

As a result, the user sees a personal rating of the resume and external resources that have been found. This information is used to display matching job offers and an easy way to instantly create your InfoJobs account based on the already obtained data.

Our solution is based on a serverless architecture from AWS as well as the InfoJobs API to obtain matching job offers. We (should be) available on resume-checker.tech.
