Inspiration

We saw the challenge that Bizaway presented and thought it would be the one that could allow us to show our knowledge in the best way."

What it does

It takes some inputs like your name, where you want to depart from, where you want to go, and the date of your travel. Then it works its magic and displays the best price for that day.

How we built it

We used HTML, CSS/Tailwind, and JavaScript for the frontend, while PHP was used for the backend.

Challenges we ran into

Looking for a good API and managing it in PHP would be the most challenging aspect of the project because I had never done it before. Another challenge was coordination, as we were two web developers and two computer science graduates, so we had some issues deciding which technologies to use.

What we learned

I would say that the experience was short but intense. I saw how far I could push my body and mind. Rest is crucial for productivity. During this time, I learned how to use APIs and manage them in PHP. Additionally, I learned valuable lessons on how NOT to manage a project with people who have diverse perspectives.

What's next for HackUDC flight finder
