Inspiration

I had this idea awhile ago when I started writing a story in pieces as part of a blog, I felt that a dedicated space for collaboration would be fun and exciting for people who love to write like myself

What it does

Right now it sadly doesn't do much, you put in a username that changes every time you go on so theres no link to an account its more anonymously based. You can view the current stories (they aren't pulling from bluemix properly) and write your own, one piece of functionality I couldn't add was to branch off of other peoples stories, which I felt was very important, but even though I have used bluemix before I could not get anything to pull down even though objects were being stored in the cloud.

How I built it

I made an Android app, since the writing is based around shorter paragraphs and snippets I felt as though an on the go mobile app was a great platform for this type of interaction

Challenges I ran into

Bluemix. I personally really like bluemix I have used it before and not had the same problems I had today. It led me into a bit of confusion to try and make it work and I ended up recreating the project, yet It still wouldn't work.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I felt that through doing the app twice I learned a lot about the inner workings of android that help me to program faster and more efficiently, this was certainly a learning experience for me! I haven't ever completed a full scale project with a backend before
