Inspiration

I recently got time to try hackathons, but seeing how many being happening every day i couldn't focus on getting things done, instead i used to do it in the last moment and rush things half baked. So i needed a productivity tool to manage that so that i can be a bit disciplined and focus on getting things part by part each day.

What it does

Helps manage the hackathons that anyone is registered to, by managing tasks, see the progress, make better decisions based on the info available at one place.

How we built it

I used the codex with GPT 5.6 Terra which was very good at completing the project on time with very less to and fro. resolving issues in the project.

Challenges we ran into

we had difficulty in making the edge function to scrape the necessary data, which was somehow resolved by the AI model by explaining how the things were going in the frontend. Connecting and getting my app verified by google OAuth App Verification. Mostly related to connecting google calendar account to the hack-track app.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Finally we were able to make the edge function to scrape enough data that was useful.

What we learned

Prompting, building new stuff using AI, working on solving complex issues. Google API integration to connect google calender.

What's next for HackTrack

We do have many more ideas to give form, so we are exited to use this learning to build cool stuff, solve problems.
