Inspiration

Md Judy who is the headteacher at Mapimo Primary School. She has the responsibility of assessing some teaching practicing students all over her county. What success means to her : she is able assess her assigned students without having to go through the pain of filling large and tedious forms and distributing those forms to the respective offices in the shortest time possible. She also wants to be able to communicate to her assigned students promptly (Teacher Trainee Assessor) Teacher Joyce who is a student form the St. Mary’s Teacher’s College waiting to be assessed for her certification. What success means to her is that she is able to track her performance and progress.

What it does

Improve the process of assessment by enabling easy data entry and distribution as well as creating an easy channel of communication between the Teacher trainee assessors and the teacher trainees.

Challenges we ran into

The hosting bit of the site was a challenge. running out of internet bundles as the site required internet to be loaded on to any browser.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Having created a communication channel between the trainers and the trainees having a platform for the trainers to be able to set tests as well as assess the trainees via their phones

What we learned

We learnt the minimal viable product concept where the application should have just enough features to gather validated learning about the product and its continued development.
