Inspiration
Felt inspired to create a hack around the EDF track. Food waste is a big problem which is contributing to landfill which hinders reaching net zero.
What it does
People looking to donate, can donate their spare foods to the website and see what foods are low in availability so they know what foods are needed most. People who use foodbanks can request certain foods via the website. Foodbanks can use the website to display current food stock.
How we built it
Used HTML and PHP to create a website.
Challenges we ran into
The struggles of CSS not working how you want it to. Silly errors that took up a lot of time trying to solve.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
A good idea which would have practical use.
What we learned
It always takes more time than you think it's going to.
