Inspiration
It all started with the Hackthon email from DevPost. At first I was not sure whether to enroll in this Hackathon, but as I entered and start following the steps and resources and I start seeing some working code, it started getting more interesting and I kept going on until I finish the challenge.
What it does
This project is based on Atalssian Forge Cloud based development platform. This gadget accepts City Name and Country Name and in background it calls Weather APIs to translate the city with latitude and longitude and displays that city's weather information.
How we built it
Technologies used in building this gadget is : Atlassian Forge, React, Weather APIs
Challenges we ran into
Honestly I did not face any major challenges. Resources and all the instructions provided were so clear and easy to follow.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I feel proud, I learned something new. I never had a chance to work with Atlassian Forge Cloud based development platform. Now I feel very comfortable with this platform.
What we learned
I have certainly learned Forge commands and overall coding & deploy methodology : Overall Forge development platform.
What's next for HackSpire
After learning all about Forge development platform, I am very excited to continue exploring more about this platform to learn advance concepts and will certainly also exploring if this can be used in my Organization - in my project at work.
