Inspiration Inspired by the mystery of life’s code, we wanted to make DNA translation easy and visual — so anyone can see how genes turn into proteins.

What it does It takes a DNA sequence, converts it to RNA, then translates that into proteins, showing each step with colorful, interactive visuals.

How we built it We used plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build a clean, user-friendly frontend that runs entirely in the browser — no backend needed.

Challenges we ran into Handling invalid inputs and stopping translation at the right point was tricky. We also worked on making the protein output clear and engaging.

Accomplishments we're proud of A smooth, educational tool that anyone can use to explore genetics, plus features like random DNA generation and downloadable results.

What we learned How to connect biology concepts with coding logic, and how to make complex science approachable through simple design.

What’s next for the hack Add more codons, support for amino acid properties, and maybe an animated tutorial to make learning even more fun!
