Inspiration As a solo BTech CS student from India competing in team-heavy hackathons, I wasted hours manually matching my Python/web dev skills to sponsor challenges like You.com APIs. HackPrep AI automates this frustration into instant, executable project plans.

What it does Input any hackathon challenge + constraints ("You.com APIs, Python solo student, 16 days") → instantly generates tailored project title, tech stack, 48-hour timeline, starter code snippets, and learning resources using You.com's intelligent search APIs.

How we built it Frontend: Responsive HTML/CSS/JS single-page app with input form → interactive result cards

Backend: Python Flask server querying You.com API with dynamic prompts

Core Logic: Parse API JSON → structured output with localStorage history + jsPDF export

Deploy: Render.com free tier for live demo

Challenges we ran into Free You.com API quotas forced single-call prompt optimization

Parsing unstructured API responses needed regex extraction
