QUICK SCREEN
A COVID web application questionnaire tool that provides a faster, more efficient way to screen people entering a business.
Our COVID screening web application is designed to solve two problems. The first being to shorten lineups of people waiting outside businesses for an employee to ask them screening questions upon entering. This application provides people entering a business premises to pre-screen themselves online, so that when they arrive on site they scan a QR code and are able to send their results to the company. It also creates a safer environment by ensuring a contactless on-site assessment and a central way of viewing who came in at what time if an outbreak were to arise where people need to be tracked/contacted.
COVID screenings have become a new integrated part of our lives in trying to stop the spread. Screening for symptoms (and recent travel questions) is vital for assuring the safety of others and having the peace of mind of knowing those around you are self assessing and symptom free. Screenings and questionnaires are becoming more and more popular in many businesses and companies in areas with severe cases of COVID-19. This in turn may cause long line ups as employees record personal contact information of each customer along with checking for symptoms.
Technologies I used: Share which technologies you used in your hack as well as how you used them (this will be critical in any sponsored prizes). Throughout this hackathon we used google slides to portray our prototype website on mobile and desktop. This enabled us to show and collaborate our ideas. We also used GitHub to share our latest versions of our website to keep everyone updated. Website was made with Python, HTML, React Native.
