HackmerceoX - Grocery Shopping App

Inspiration Grocery shopping is an essential part of daily life, but it can be time-consuming and inefficient. We wanted to create a seamless and user-friendly online grocery shopping experience that simplifies the process, saves time, and ensures users get the best shopping experience from the comfort of their homes.

What it does HackmerceoX is a smart grocery shopping app that allows users to:
Browse and view grocery items with images and prices
Select quantities and calculate total costs instantly
Place an order and receive a confirmation message
Enjoy a visually appealing shopping experience with an intuitive UI

How we built it We developed HackmerceoX using:
Gradio – For an interactive and user-friendly UI
HTML & CSS – To enhance the design and include background animations
Public Image APIs – To display product images dynamically

Challenges we ran into Ensuring the background image loads correctly across all devices
Making the UI visually appealing while keeping it simple and functional Handling dynamic updates for real-time price calculation
