Inspiration
Our inspiration came from websites like notion that allow easy changes and personalization of each aspect, as well as paper journals that allow creativity.
What it does
Our website allows you to input your daily habits, like drinking water, your sleep, and daily exercise. Then it takes the data and gives you a daily score based on your individual input.
How we built it
We used the Svelte front-end framework which integrated our custom HTML, CSS and JavaScript without the use of any component libraries, like BootStrap, to create and build our website. We used git and github to collaborate and share our contributions to the code.
Challenges we ran into
With each of us coming from different coding backgrounds, collaborating and working through issues together was a fascinating challenge. We learnt completely new languages like HTML, CSS and JavaScript, as well as new ways to collaborate and enhance our code with git and github.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
For three of us, this was our first hackathon. We set realistic goals and took our project from the planning stages to a completed, interactive website. Working through all of the challenges we faced, with such a limited amount of time was an incredibly rewarding experience. We also completed the website without the use of component libraries, allowing us to create UI from scratch and really focus on the underlying details of website development.
What we learned
We learned how to utilize new technology, plan and set realistic goals for a project, work collaboratively as a group, and solve issues together.
What's next for HackHer 2024 trApp
We want to deploy our website so that we can look back on what we've created, grow the website by adding more habits and daily tasks, and constantly improve the user experience with trApp.
