Inspiration

The inspiration behind HackHer comes from all the challenges that women face when pursuing a career in tech.

What it does

HackHer is an online networking platform, where women in tech, no matter what stage they're at, can come together to network, support, and empower one another. We focused on 3 objectives - career development, empowerment and inclusivity. On the website, users can access our career center for information, find opportunities to grow their resume, get tips, and receive feedback from others on projects! Also, our website already offers 3 language options: English, French, and Portuguese.

At HackHer, we'll put forth maximum effort to ensure all aspiring female hackers can take flight and achieve their dreams.

In unity comes strength. We women of HackHer are taking one giant leap towards expanding womankind's presence in tech and are motivating others to BREAK BOUNDARIES.

How we built it

After brainstorming ideas, we started to plan things out on Figma and wireframed our prototype.

Challenges we ran into

Given the time constraint, we were only able to partially code the platform.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• The strong collaboration & communication skills within the team.
• Coming up with a cool idea.
• Being able to incorporate multiple languages into our idea

What we learned

• How to make the most out of the limited time and experience we had.
• For some of us, how to use Figma.

What's next for HackHer

• Converting the HackHer prototype into a real website!
• Adding more languages to make it accessible to all!
