Inspiration
We saw that many students had lost touch with their peers over the pandemic, so we decided to make a website that helps teenagers make friends within their schools.
What it does
This website quizzes you to get to know what kind of friend you are, and what kind of friend you are looking for. It then matches you with somebody who is verified to be at your school, so that you can have a new friend! If you aren't looking for a serious friendship, that isn't a big deal. You will be matched with somebody who is looking for the same kind of friend as you
How we built it
We built this website using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. We made a home page with a brief summary of the purpose of the website, along with our logo and a link to our quiz. We then made a quiz, the results will lead you to a page with your matches. It tells you who would be your best fitted friend, and which activity you should do together.
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge we ran into was trying to make an algorithm that matched together the people who took the quiz.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are extremely proud of the home screen and the quiz questions since we put so much design and creative effort into those. It was also just extremely difficult to get all of the coding aspects correct, but we pulled through.

We learned many different techniques in our coding journeys.
What's next for Schoolr
There are many other directions Schoolr could go in, we could let students match for romantic partners, or even let them find their perfect enemy! Schoolr truly has a bright future ahead of it.
