Insptoday’s fast-paced world, many people struggle to express their feelings. Not everyone has someone to talk to, and mental health often gets ignored.

This inspired us to build HearMe AI — a safe digital space where users can share their thoughts freely and feel heard without judgment. 🛠️ How We Built It We designed HearMe AI using simple yet effective technologies: Frontend: User-friendly interface for smooth interaction Backend: Handles user inputs and responses securely AI Logic: Processes emotions and provides supportive replies Database: Stores conversations safely (if needed) We focused on making the platform accessible, responsive, and comforting for users. 📚 What We Learned Importance of user-centered design Basics of AI-driven conversation systems Handling sensitive data responsibly Team collaboration and time management during a hackathon We also learned that even simple tech can create a meaningful emotional impact. 🚧 Challenges We Faced Designing responses that feel empathetic and natural Ensuring privacy and safety for users Managing time while building multiple features Balancing between technical complexity and simplicity 📊 A Simple Insight We modeled emotional support as a balance between listening and responding: This helped us focus on building a system that doesn’t just reply, but truly “listens.” 🚀 What’s Next Adding voice-based interaction Improving emotion detection accuracy Multi-language support (including Tamil) Connecting users with professional help resourcesiration

We have started working on our Multi Modal Annotation System. The goal of this project is to handle and annotate multiple types of data such as text, images, and possibly audio in a unified system. Currently, we are in the initial development phase, focusing on understanding the problem and designing the system workflow. Looking forward to improving this project step by step and adding more features soon. Feedback is welco
