Inspiration

We as undergraduates, are aspiring to build our career in the field of AI and Machine Learning , so we thought of creating the project "Hacker's Eye" under the same domain.

What it does

This project can be used in various different fields like , it can be used for theft detection , it can be used to smartly check whether the students are trying to cheat or not (for instance , a student can cheat either by copying his/her friends paper or he/she can whisper to tell an answer of particular question) in an examination hall which to be very honest , I think that it is better than the systems which are available right now.

How we built it

This project comes under the domain of Machine Learning. Basically, it is made using programming language python using python's most famous libraries i.e. OpenCV and Tkinter and some other common libraries.

Challenges we ran into

The problem we ran into was that of detecting faces accurately. So, we resolved that error.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

After going through a lot many errors , and resolved them without any external help , we were joyful at the end since our model was perfectly compiling and giving the output as expected !

What we learned

We got to learn about Tkinter and OpenCV. These libraries were very new to us and we gained knowledge and insights about them during the course of this hackathon.

What's next for Hacker's Eye

1) Adding in-built night vision capability. 2) Adding the concepts of deep learning if in future we are having high power device. More features can be added such as : a) Deadly weapon detection b) Accident detection c) Fire Detection and much more..
