Inspiration

The inspiration came from wanting to commit to a project that is related to social good and can help women build their lives from the ground up.

What it does

It offers the women center a way to keep track of their donations as well as tools for mental health and people to get resources, log their stress, and gain additional help.

How we built it

We build this mobile app using web development frameworks such as Node, Next.js, and Tailwind. We created the architecture and for each page, we carefully thought out the features and process and hopes to make it as simple as possible for users.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into challenges with integrating our databases and getting runtime errors which were heavy to solve and also disagreeing on features but we were able to solve them.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of the fact that we were about to work together to accomplish our project in 24hrs for one of the very first hackathons we attended and that it's something that will go toward people in need.

What we learned

We learned to work hard and be efficient and delegate tasks individually.

What's next for HackDavis Project

We hope that we can use this project as a tool for other centers to use or take as a sample which we can customize.
