Inspiration to Save life
What it does It controls the Pulmonary Ventilator
How I built it by devices and parts currently available on the market, PLC, Controller of market, HMI of market. Possibility integrated PLC + HMI.
Challenges I ran into to search the correct devices and to build prototype faster possible to test and for approval
Accomplishments that I'm proud of by learning and knowledge is possible to build one equipment so important these days.
What I learned was important to start the prototype and programming the software so fast.
What's next for HACKCOVID19 (PV) Pulmonary Ventilator Software Programming
The idea here is to take the main controls as inspiration, expiration, mixer and alarm list of faults and monitoring sensors as well and to program easier and free basement with PLC or low cost controller – the design must be with parts currently available on the market – to develop one system, in diagram block. It is a medium (but preferably high) level of complexity – an open-source software.
