Inspiration
Many of my team worked service jobs and we wished we had an app like this.
What it does
A mental health and general safety companion app that tracks and analyzes certain markers of an employee's state of mind or performance
How we built it
Experimenting with app templates, and then building our own using react native and expo
Challenges we ran into
Server connection in real time, navigating between app pages
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Well, none of us KNEW javaScript last week so there's definitely that
What we learned
Coding is less of a game of rote knowledge and regurgitation and more focused on resourcefulness and problem solving
What's next for Hackathon2021_Conocophillips
A massive UI overhaul and further experimentation
